Colleen is a nurse clinician in the Inherited Metabolic Disorders Program at the Alberta Children's Hospital working within Alberta Health Services in Calgary, Alberta. 

She joined the program in April 2001 to coordinate the Metabolic Clinic and currently works with lysosomal storage disorders (LSDs). Her work with LSDs also includes Prairie Province Regional Coordinator for the Canadian Fabry Disease Initiative (CFDI). 

In August 1990, Colleen graduated from the Red Deer College, nursing diploma program.  She then completed her bachelor of nursing from Athabasca University in June 1999.  Prior to working in the Inherited Metabolic Disorders Program, Colleen has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including gastrointestinal clinic, endocrine, respiratory, general surgery, orthopedics, inpatient mental health as well as in adult settings including oncology and extended care.
